Can anyone help me figure out whats wrong with my 2001 Mustang?

This morning I got in it to go to work and it was vibrating real bad then the check engine light came on. I drove it yesterday and had no problems. What happened? Can anyone help me figure out whats wrong with my 2001 Mustang?
Obviously first things first you need to scan the computer with an obd2 scanner, like it was mentioned first it will display a code which will normally tell you what is wrong... however it sounds alot like a vacuum leak. I had a ford thunderbird and it did the same thing, turned out to be a cracked vacuum connection. Can anyone help me figure out whats wrong with my 2001 Mustang?
I agree with the person above that said cars do not fix them selves, ignoring a problem will always cost you much more in the end. Take it to checker or auto zone and they will check you engine codes for free so you can see what activated the check engine light. Like someone else said, you could have gotten some bad gas, or maybe more likely, check you air intake to see if anything is loose or blocked. I had a simular problem with my cobra and the check engine light came on and one day it would drive like crap and the next it would not and so on. I ended up having one of my cold air intake filter had fallen off and as it shifted back an forth it messed with my intake.
i would guess that you probably have an engine miss. this will cause the vibration that your are experiencing. the ck engine light will come on. when this does you can have the codes read and this will tell you what cylinder is misfiring.
Scan the computer for codes. Even if the check engine light is currently off, you will still have stored codes. Autozone can do this for free!
well you raidatior could be needeed to be flushed or your tires are off balance
Operator error?
Cars DO NOT fix themselves, get it checked out. It's probably something minor.
I'd guess contaminated gas, maybe some water in it. Pour in a can of water dispersant into the gas tank.
