How do I improve my figure skating split jump?

I can do a split jump, but my back leg isn't getting up high enough.

I'm left handed, if that means anything.

I'm looking for any kind of off-ice excersizes that could help

Please help, and fast! How do I improve my figure skating split jump?
TOns of splits off ice, and do standing split jumps. Do like, sets of twenty. Pull them up as high as you can go. Think about having strings tied to both feet and they're both being pulled up with equal force and height. Make sure you think especially hard about pulling your back leg up and keeping it as straight as you can! It will come with stretching and practice! How do I improve my figure skating split jump?
(same problem here: front leg too high, and back leg not)

practice the splits off ice as much as you can

practice the splits (if you can) with one (right and left leg) propped up by a chair or pillow or couch.

do ballet leaps and try getting legs even

do split jump off ice w/tennis shoes on

on the ice make sure you have enough air time

think of the jump as light and quick

if you have a trampoline, practice splits on it

Hope I helped!
You can try and stretch at home to get both your legs at an even height.

Try to apply more force to your toepick and kick your back leg up right away. The height will help you even your legs out.

I know, that's not the best answer, but hope it helps :)
Do splits off the ice..maybe practicing by putting your back leg down first, that would stretch it more...Otherwise just keep practicing!
I take jazz dance at a local studio and the split leaps we learn have really helped my skating split jumps. Like, a lot. :D
of course do alot of splits off ice

try to put ur back leg on a block so it strecthes it more
