Can I use a figure-eight noseband and a kimberwick together?

I just bought a figure eight noseband for my mare. I'm just going to use it on cross country. I need to use a kimberwick to jump because she is so strong. Can i use them together or do i have to find a different bit?Can I use a figure-eight noseband and a kimberwick together?
Yes, this is fine to use with a kimberwick. This will make it easier for your horse to breathe than a standard noseband with flash (if fitted correctly) and is much better for cross country and jumping. GLCan I use a figure-eight noseband and a kimberwick together?
A Kimblewick and a mexican grakle may be used together but other forms of pelham should really not be used with a drop or flash, but can be used with a cavesson or kineton noseband.
It sounds harsh, but I imagine you can as long as the underside of the figure 8 doesn't sit where the chain is supposed to be.
