Please help with this simple physics problem, for whatever reason i cannot figure out how to start?

A subway train starts from rest at a station and accelerates at a rate of 1.60 for 13.6 . It runs at constant speed for 70.2 and slows down at a rate of 3.50 until it stops at the next station. find the total distance covered.Please help with this simple physics problem, for whatever reason i cannot figure out how to start?
Remember how acceleration, velocity, position, and time relate to one another.

acceleration = change in velocity over a time interval (a = dv/dt)

velocity = change of position over a time interval (v = dx/dt)

If you look in your physics text, or online, you should be able to find expressions for position as a function of time, velocity, and acceleration. From there it's just a matter of splitting the unknown distance into the portions in the problem, finding each portion on its own, and adding them all up.
