Our teacher gave us this project and did not explain it to us. We have to present why it is better than using PVC pipes. What does sweating copper pipes have to do with physics? I can't figure out hoe to incorporate it with physics?
I'm not too sure about physics but when you sweat a copper pipe you heat up the pipe with flux on it and then put your solder line on the top of the pipe and the solder runs around the whole pipe sealing it up you don't have to run your solder all the way around you only need to put it on the top and it does the work for you. pvc pipes use glue and they are not as durable as copper pipes. they tend to get brittle over time. hope that helps. What does sweating copper pipes have to do with physics? By sweating, do you mean soldering, or water vapour condensing on it?
