What is the equation to figure out what percent you need to get on the final to get a certain grade?

Most of my finals are 15% of our semester grade.What is the equation to figure out what percent you need to get on the final to get a certain grade?
Multiply your grade so far by 0.85. Then subtract that from the grade you want. Then divide that by 0.15





Say you have an 80 so far but want to get an 82.





80 x 0.85 = 68


82 - 68 = 14

Divide that by 0.15








That number is the lowest you can get out of a hundred to earn the grade you wanted in the course.
G= Desired numerical grade


C= Current Numerical grade


F= Final Grade
