I'm trying to share a printer with two desktops. How can I figure out what I'm doing wrong?

The pc that is supposed to use the printer wireless won't connect to my printer. When it searches for printers in a network it comes up with the pc name of the computer that is plugged into the printer. Isn't it supposed to come up with the name of the printer?I'm trying to share a printer with two desktops. How can I figure out what I'm doing wrong?
Try installing drivers on both computers.I'm trying to share a printer with two desktops. How can I figure out what I'm doing wrong?
First step. Be sure that file and print sharing is enabled on the host computer for the printer. Then make sure the network/domain name for all computers are the same. (Example: BobsNetwork). When you install the printer on the host machine make sure the printer is shared. You should be able to view the printer under ';Printers'; right click to share printer on the network. Finally on the computer you would like to print from you must ';add new printer'; navigate to the networked printer and add it as a device. (Normally No CD IS Required) And it's really that simple.

Check List; Network Names, Sharing Attributes, Adding device.

I hope that helps. Good luck.
The pc that is trying to hookup wireless must have printer drivers installed first. And yes after installing drivers it should recognize the printer. Hope this helps
