Can God disguise himself as a religious figure like Mary to someone?

I thought this sounded weird, but here is the story





A man nearly dies from electrocution. He see's a vision of what appears to him as the Virgin Mary which is sent to prepare for introduction to the supreme being. When he asks the apparation to reveal it's true self, it turns out to be God. He says he gets paralyzed with fear at first but is then comforted as he is introduced to the afterlife.





Do you think God could or would operate in this manner? Wouldn't that be an act of deviousness by God?Can God disguise himself as a religious figure like Mary to someone?
No, God doesn't operate like that but Satan does.





(2 Corinthians 11:14) And no wonder, for Satan himself keeps transforming himself into an angel of light.





Also, it is not possible to see God and live.





Exodus 33:20 - And he added: “You are not able to see my face, because no man may see me and yet live.”





In conclusion, it is Satan and his demons that do things like that.





(Revelation 16:13-14) And I saw three unclean inspired expressions [that looked] like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the wild beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 They are, in fact, expressions inspired by demons and perform signs, and they go forth to the kings of the entire inhabited earth, to gather them together to the war of the great day of God the Almighty.








God only reveals himself through his word, The Bible.Can God disguise himself as a religious figure like Mary to someone?
Appearings as virgin Mary etc are nothing but DEMONS (2Cor 11.14) disguising themselves in an idolized one that they get any worshipping, etc. God doesn't disguise anything and his revelation is JESUS CHRIST (Col 1.15; 2.9; John 14.9, Hb 1.1; etc.)
No because God doesn't exist. It's impossible for imaginary beings to disguise themselves as any real thing.
No, anything that pulls your attention away from Jesus is from the evil one.
We entertain angels, unaware.

this is so stupid... the ONLY people who buy into these visions of mary are the same people who have no clue what the Bible says when Jesus Christ entered the world. God shrouded Himself in humanity, to take up our scars that He might heal them through death and resurrection. the final revelation to the world will be God's Son - in full glory. there is no need for a vision of mary. if it does not magnify the Lord Jesus Christ, it is from the enemy. he knows how to toy with our worship, he is so well veiled... glorification has been the devil's dream since time began, and he seeks it in us just as God does but for another reason. the devil is filled with himself while God is giving of Himself. satan isn't opposed to religion or visions or faith, they are his chief tools for distortion. how do you destroy truth? you cannot, you can only bury it in lies... for a time.
