I am 280 lbs. I eat Weight Watcher dinners that you can get in the grocery stores. I have seen formulas and calculators to figure out how many points are in foods, but how many points can a person consume? All I have found online is that a person gets 35 extra points to use in a week, and that the less you weigh, the less points you can consume. How do you figure how much Weight Watcher points you can consume based on weight?
It all depends on a lot of things, such as age, the job you do, your weight, male or female, etc. Find someone that follows weight watchers and they will be able to calculate for you. If not tell me all that info and I will find out for you. Good luck! Trust me it works! Ive lost 2 stone on this diet! How do you figure how much Weight Watcher points you can consume based on weight?
75 calories=1 point. 2,000 calories is what most women should be eating unless they are very active, kids or athletes, 2,200 for men. It's very hard to start at that , figure out how many calories you normally consume and set a small goal each week (i.e. 50 calories less a day, and move more- It doesn't have to be excercise at first , park farther away form the store, make several small trips through the house to put up laundry, etc. tv surfing doesn't count!
You are allowed 31 points per day; however, you earn points for activity, as well as your 35 flex points.
Good luck!
