I'm trying to clear up space on my computer for better performance. I have a lot of programs and files on my computer that I don't use %26amp; don't know what they are. I would just go ahead and delete the unknown ones, but I don't know which ones are need for my OS and/or computer to work right. So what would be the best way to determine what I can and can't delete? How can I figure out what programs my computer NEEDS?

Control Panel
Add/Remove Programs
You should remove anything without the words ';windows update'; or ';driver';. Please also think carefully before hitting the ';remove'; button when you see the word ';Microsoft'; in the program.
P.S. The amount of free space at your hard drive does not influence performance. The amount of programs running does. How can I figure out what programs my computer NEEDS?
I think the Spotmau PowerSuite 2009 is your best choice.
You can use it to boot up any computer; fix and install Windows; optimize and speed up your system; clean up history and protect privacy; recover data and passwords; partition and format the hard drive; clone and backup your system; and more...
You can see detail and guides here: http://spotmau-powersuite-2009.kooksoft.鈥?/a>
I hope this may help you.
